Returns & Refunds

Hand-painted, made-to-order work is not returnable for change of mind. Your piece was painted for you, to your choice of design and frame, and cannot be resold.

Damaged in transit.
Photograph the piece in its packaging before unpacking further and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will repair, replace or refund. Every parcel is insured.

Not what was ordered.
If you receive the wrong design, the wrong size or the wrong frame, contact us within 7 days and we will put it right at our cost.

Variation from the preview image is not a fault.
Hand-painted to order. Each piece is individually painted by our Thanjavur artists, so the artwork you receive may not be 100% identical to the image shown. Slight variation in detail, shade and foil work is the nature of handmade art — and it means your piece is one of a kind. This is stated on every product page, under every item in your cart and in your order confirmation email, because it is the nature of the work rather than a small print exclusion.

How refunds are paid.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank they take 5–10 business days to appear. Partial refunds are possible where only part of an order is affected.
