The child Krishna seated with a handful of stolen butter, haloed in raised gesso and gold-toned foil against the deep vermilion of the Thanjavur school. Painted on seasoned board in the traditional Thanjavur method: the ornament is built up in gesso relief and finished with gold-toned foil over the raised work. Framed in the frame you choose and shipped crated and insured.

Hand-painted to order. Each piece is individually painted by our Thanjavur artists, so the artwork you receive may not be 100% identical to the image shown. Slight variation in detail, shade and foil work is the nature of handmade art — and it means your piece is one of a kind.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I'd post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon.
