A temple chariot in gold with its attendants. The chariot, or ther, is pulled through the streets by hand on the temple's festival day. Painted on seasoned board in the traditional Thanjavur method: the ornament is built up in gesso relief and finished with gold-toned foil over the raised work. Framed in the frame you choose and shipped crated and insured.
